Sunset Splendour Guesthouse was started by Alan and Marita Procter in 1997. They built the house in 1996 and lived in the guest-rooms before adding the double-story section for themselves.

Sunset Splendour Guesthouse was bought in August 2012 by Gerrit and Elba van Zyl from Johannesburg who were regular guests at Sunset Splendour Guesthouse.
Sunset Splendour Guesthouse closed its doors in August 2014 to start major renovations. Renovations was completed two years later and the new Sunset Splendour Guesthouse opened its doors on 1 October 2016.
We are living upstairs in Sunset Splendour Guesthouse and are managing the day to day running and administration.
For us, Sunset Splendour Guesthouse is a dream come true and we are passionate and committed giving our guests a special time and a holiday to remember.
